Welcome to my Official siteHi everyone, On June 8th, World Vision, some of the NHLPA staff and myself went to Haiti. We visited the country and the Grace Children’s Hospital site, right in the middle of Port-au-Prince. The hospital is totally demolished and our goal has been to raise enough money to rebuild it. So far, thanks to you all, we have raised over $1.5 million, but our goal is to raise $4 million so we can build a bigger, stronger facility and provide more services. Over 300,000 people died in Haiti and with the hurricane season coming, this number will grow. We, as lucky Canadians, can make a difference and help rebuild this beautiful nation whose courageous people, despite everything, would rather stay in their country and live with hope of a better future. That's a lesson of courage to us all, an inspiration. P.S. Special thanks to actor SEAN PENN, a true real hero in Haiti where he has been working nonstop for the people in Haiti, caring for thousands of people and also providing medical supplies. Sean, on behalf of the entire Haitian community, I want to thank you for all your work. You are an example to all of us and will always have my greatest respect as a human being and now my favorite actor,May God bless you my brother.
