GAY RIGHTS

A cause I truly defend

One of the many causes that I truly defend with all my heart is gay rights. I don’t understand why it is still a worldwide issue in the 21st century. This is just inacceptable and this just has to stop. To know that there are religions today that think homosexuality is evil is just plain wrong. Personally, I believe that religion is more or less a kind of cult but with a larger following. To condemn homosexuality this way is awful but not surprising. When I walk down the street, do I ask people if they are straight? So why do we need to ask or know who is homosexual? Will we react differently towards someone that is? Do you think you will get attacked by someone who is homosexual? In my experience, gay men are gentler and the nicest people on the planet. So please, take that stupid stereotype out of your mind. I myself have many gay friends and have no problem going to gay bars. I often participate in the Gay Pride Parade and when people ask me if I’m gay, although I’m not, I simply respond: “What do you have against gay people?” I don’t see why sexual orientation is so important. No one should care whether you’re homosexual, transsexual or bi-sexual. You can be whatever and whoever you want to be. What’s important is what is in your heart. Many suffer from bullying or hide their true identity because of fear. Even in professional team sports, athletes are afraid to come out of the closet because of the stigma associated with homosexuality. That shows clearly how society is still not ready to fully accept them. Everybody who knows me knows that when I take a stand, I really do. I’ve always been a firm believer that actions speak louder than words. So, do not be surprised that I accepted a role as a gay football player in the sitcom Tiny Plastic Men. I’ve appeared in two episodes already. Below, you can see the two episodes.

God Bless you all
